Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands is a multi-platform video game developed by Ubisoft[7] which was released on May 18, 2010, in North America and on May 20 in Europe.[8] The game is a latest installment in the Prince of Persia series, and will mark a return to the storyline started by Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The Wii and PSP versions are being developed by Ubisoft Quebec; the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows are being handled by Ubisoft Montreal with the help of Ubisoft Singapore, while the DS version is being made at Casablanca.[9]

Iron Man is a 2008 video game based on the film of the same name as well as the classic iterations of the character.[2] It was released on May 2, 2008 to coincide with the release of the film in cinemas. Need for Speed: Shift, released on 15 September 2009, primarily centers around legal races in real-life racing circuits around the world, and maintain its mix of exotic, import and muscle cars. It features 60+ cars, divided into 4 tiers. It features 19 tracks, some of which are actual liscensed tracks and others of which are fictional. In addition to improved driving simulation and an adaptive difficulty, the game reintroduces cockpit view, the first in the series since Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. NFS Shift focuses on racing simulation rather than arcade racing of previous titles. The car featured on the cover page is a BMW E92 M3 GT2.
It has received better reviews than the last 2 games, ProStreet and Undercover. It has gained a 9.0 rating from IGN and the Official Xbox Magazine while gained a 7.0 from Eurogamer and Gamespot, who were considerably less impressed. Most of the criticism revolved around the Drift aspect of NFS Shift.
A Ferrari racing DLC pack was released. It was available on the Xbox 360 for 800 Microsoft Points. It featured 10 Ferrari cars and 46 specific Ferrari challenges in career mode.
An Exotic racing pack was also released. It features cars like the McLaren MP4-12C, the BMW M1, the Gumpert Apollo and the Honda NSX. It also features new races, a new championship & 5 more trophies for the PlayStation 3.

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game is a 2009 third-person action video game based on James Cameron's film of the same name. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii and Nintendo DS on December 1, 2009, with a PSP version released later on December 8, 2009.

The Best range was used for the PlayStation until 2000 when the PSone and
PSone Books range were released. These games were top selling popular titles that were made available again in a low-priced version under this new label. These games did not come in
jewel cases like other PlayStation games, but instead came in a slim type box like CD Maxi Singles. The games therefore did not feature a manual and usually only explained the basic controls on the inside of the front cover. The software contained on the discs was usually the original retail game, however bug fixes were applied for a few titles.

FIFA 10 is the 18th title in Electronic Arts' FIFA series of football video games. Developed by EA Canada, it was published by Electronic Arts worldwide under the EA Sports label. It was released on 2 October 2009 in Europe, 30 September in Australia and 20 October 2009 in North America. Masaya Nakamura founded the company as Nakamura Manufacturing in 1955.

Though Nakajima wanted to try saving Atari Japan, owner Nolan Bushnell was already struggling to keep the parent company afloat due to undercapitalization and was looking to sell the Japanese subsidiary for some badly-needed cash.[6][8] Sega, then a manufacturer of pinball machines, offered to acquire Atari Japan for $50,000. Nakamura put in a bid for $800,000 and shocked others out of competition. The deal was finalized at $500,000 and Bushnell was glad to take it. Debts inherited from Atari Japan would take Nakamura two years to pay off, but the deal had also secured for him an exclusive license to distribute Atari's games in Japan for ten years. Nakamura would follow up by opening video arcades featuring Atari games.

Tekken 3 maintains the same core fighting system and concept as its predecessors, but brings many improvements, such as significantly more detailed graphics and animations, 15 new characters added to the game's roster, more modern music and faster and more fluid gameplay.
Perhaps the most noticeable change from
Tekken 2 fight system is movement reform - whereas the element of depth had been largely insignificant in previous
Tekken games (aside from some characters having unique sidesteps and dodging maneuvers),
Tekken 3 added emphasis on the third axis, allowing all characters to sidestep in or out of the background by lightly pressing the arcade stick (or tapping the controller button in the console version) towards the corresponding direction. Another big change in movement was that jumping was toned down, no longer allowing fighters to jump to extreme heights (as was present in previous games), but keeping leaps to reasonable, realistic heights. It made air combat more controllable, and put more use to sidestep dodges, as jumping no longer became a universal dodge move that was flying above all of the ground moves. Other than that, the improved engine allowed for quick recoveries from knock-downs, more escapes from tackles and stuns, better juggling (as many old moves had changed parameters, allowing them to connect in combo-situations, where they wouldn't connect in previous games) and extra newly-created combo throws.

The House of the Dead 2 is a rail shooter light gun game. It includes an auto-reload feature that allows players to point their guns off-screen to reload their weapons without pulling the trigger. It also incorporates a branching path system that allows players to take a variety of different routes leading to the same point in the game's story.

Pacific Fighters, known in Russia as Pearl Harbor (Перл-Харбор), is a World War II combat flight simulator for PCs, the high quality of this air combat simulation is often used as a benchmark to compare others. It is flown online by gamers (Online fighter squadron communities) using a standard IP address or a client server such as as "hyperlobby" regularly but can be flown offline as well. The latest version is Pacific Fighters (IL-2) 1946 by Ubisoft.
The game gives the player 74 flyable aircraft, including variants. It was created by Maddox Games, as a Pacific War expansion of IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles, although it can also be installed as a stand-alone game. It has two types of missions that can be flown, "dogfights" or "cooperative campaign" modes. In either type, you can choose to play as either Allied or Axis forces, and the type of aircraft flown usually depends on the mission picked. There is a mission builder incorporated into the game that lets you design your own and is fairly simple to use and understand.
Pacific Fighters works with a standard joystick but many users actually have flight controls hooked to their PC's including joystick, throttle quadrant, and sometimes rudder pedals. Commonly used ones are the Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick, The Saitek X52 Flight Control System, and the Thrustmaster Cougar FCS. Pacific Fighters also works well with Track IR, a camera mounted system that increases your visual experience by providing head turning motions without using your keyboard.

Stronghold 2 is a real time strategy computer game released in April 2005 in which the player develops a stronghold in the medieval ages. It is the sequel to Stronghold, released in 2001, also by Firefly Studios.

Marine Sharpshooter focuses its game play between half sniping, and half close-quarters combat. There are a few cut scenes here and there, but they are quite relevant and don't break the story. The game's environment varies from the caves and small villages of Afghanistan, to snowy cliffs and rooftops of Chechnya, to sandy beaches and jungles of Pacific island. Interaction between player and environment is minimal.
The game features simulations of the real sniper rifles used by the US Marine Corps snipers, as well as other real weapons, such as assault rifles, pistols, and sniper rifles. There is even the occasional RPG used by the enemy.
Game features sniping, as you can zoom in really far with the sniper rifle available. Several points in the game you will be staying in one spot as you engage hostiles that pop out of various doorways and windows, or run down the street toward buildings occupied by friendlies, and you must prevent the hostiles from getting in. At other times, you need to explore, and you get to use your pistol, with an optional silencer, in close-quarters combat.
The game features a semi-intelligent spotter, who can be set to follow you or hold position, and "hold fire" or "weapons free". Spotter's job is to keep you alive, which means the spotter will engage enemies that sneak up behind you, for example, or any hostiles that got close, but if either of you dies, you will fail the mission.

The Lord of the Ringsabbreviated to LotR SBG), and often referred to
by players as Lord of the Rings, is a tabletop miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop (GW). It is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, and the book that inspired it, written by J. R. R. Tolkien.
The game was initially released in 2001 to coincide in with the movie The Fellowship of the Ring. New box sets with updated rules were also released for The Two Towers and The Return of the King movies. Later, beginning with the Shadow and Flame supplement, Games Workshop began to add content that was featured in the original book but not in the film adaptations: eg. Tom Bombadil, Radagast and Glorfindel. Games Workshop has also expanded its license with original material on areas such as Harad and Khand, with mixed reactions. The most recent complete edition of the rules, often called The One Rulebook to Rule them All, was released by Games Workshop in September 2005, while a compact edition entitled The Mines of Moria was also released.
In early 2009 Games Workshop also released an expansion to the original game called War of the Ring which, according to the company, allows players to emulate the large battles included in J.R.R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings by streamlining the game system.[2]This expansion differs from the main game in a several ways. Firstly War of the Ring uses a larger number of models but the models are placed on movement trays with two cavalry models or eight infantry models on each. This allows for much easier and quicker movement of large numbers of models at once. These are called "companies". Larger creatures such as Ents and Trolls are treated as separate models and do not use movement trays. Combat within the game is also treated differently. In the original game players both roll dice to determine who wins the fight and then the victor rolls to see how much damage is done. In War of the Ring only dice to determine damage are rolled. Also in War of the Ring heroes are treated more like upgrades for their company rather than individual models like in Strategy Battle Game.
In addition to gaming, The Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game includes other common elements of the miniature wargaming hobby. These include the collecting, painting and conversion of miniature figures used in play, as well as the modeling of gaming terrain from scratch. F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault Recon is a horror-themed first-person shooter developed by Monolith Productions and published by Vivendi. Victoria: An Empire Under the Sun, also known as Victoria or simply as Vicky, is a real-time strategy game by Paradox Entertainment (now known as Paradox Interactive). It covers its namesake the Victorian period, specifically 1836-1920 and runs on a modified version of the Europa Universalis engine. The lead game programmer was Johan Andersson. The game was later ported to Macintosh by Virtual Programming.
Unlike previous Paradox Games, which either focused on exploration and colonization (Europa Universalis) or warfare (Hearts of Iron), Victoria focuses on internal management, covering the industrialization and social/political changes in a country. However, Victoria received largely indifferent reviews on release, averaging only 60.4% on Game Rankings. Critics cited reasons such as the game's steep learning curve and its relatively dated graphics.
On August 19, 2009 a sequel Victoria 2 was announced, and is set for release in the third quarter of 2010.[1]

Medal of Honor is an upcoming first-person shooter video game in the Medal of Honor series, developed by EA Los Angeles and DICE[2], due for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2010[3][4]. The game will be a reboot of the series, set in modern-day Afghanistan. Medal of Honor's single-player campaign will use a heavily-modified version of Unreal Engine 3 and its multiplayer will use the Frostbite engine.[1] This game is expected to utilize dedicated servers as hinted by Sean Decker, General Manager at EA, in Atomic PC's feature article. [5]There will be one seamless single player campaign. The player will play as multiple characters that each partake in diverse and unique experiences from both the “Tier 1” and “Big Military” perspectives.[6] The storyline will follow several "Tier One Operator" soldiers working under the National Command Authority in Afghanistan.[7] Players will also step into the shoes of the standard issue military and will be on a larger scale than the "Tier 1 Elite Ops" campaign, as players will only be a small part of the 'war machine'.

Like other games in the series, GTA IV is composed of elements from driving games and third-person shooters, and features "open-world" gameplay that gives players more control over their playing experience. It is the first console game in the series to feature an online multiplayer mode.

Impossible Creatures is a real-time strategy game released on January 7, 2003 developed by Relic Entertainment in conjunction with Microsoft Game Studios. Its unique feature is that the armies used are all created by the player. The armies consist of 9 creatures; each one is a combination of any two animals from a list of 76 (51 with no downloads), resulting in 127,392 possible combinations with all official mods downloaded. Many animals possess inherent abilities to add more strategic depth to the game. There is an extensive single-player campaign as well as online multiplayer functionality with different game modes, add-ons, custom maps, mods, and scenarios.
Impossible Creatures was followed up later by a free downloadable expansion entitled Insect Invasion which added new creatures and abilities to the game. The last official add on for Impossible Creatures was released in 2004. Relic has stated that they have no further plans for the Impossible Creatures universe.

The Pacific War, also sometimes called the Asia-Pacific War[13] refers broadly to the parts of World War II that took place in the Pacific Ocean, its islands, and in the Far East. The term Pacific War is used to encompass the Pacific Ocean theatre, the South West Pacific theatre, the South-East Asian theatre and the Chinese theatre, also including the 1945 Soviet-Japanese conflict.

The Pacific War saw the Allied powers against the Empire of Japan, the latter aided by Thailand and to lesser extent by its Axis allies Germany and Italy; it culminated in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki by the United States and the Soviet invasion of Manchuria, resulting in the surrender of Japan and the end of World War II on August 15, 1945. The surrender of Japan occurred aboard the battleship USS Missouri on September 2, 1945.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within is a video game and sequel to Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, a critically acclaimed game released in 2003. Warrior Within was developed and published by Ubisoft, and released on December 2, 2004 for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Microsoft Windows.
The game picks up where The Sands of Time left off, adding new features, specifically, options in combat. The Prince now has the ability to wield two weapons at a time as well as the ability to steal his enemies' weapons and throw them. The Prince's repertoire of combat moves has been expanded into varying strings that allow players to attack enemies with more complexity than was possible in the previous game. Warrior Within has a much darker tone than its predecessor adding in the ability for the Prince to dispatch his enemies with violent finishing moves. In addition to the rewind, slow-down, and speed-up powers from The Sands of Time, the prince also has a new sand power: A circular "wave" of sand that knocks down all surrounding enemies.
With the continued success of Prince of Persia, a second sequel was made, concluding the story arc of The Sands of Time and Warrior Within. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones was released on November 30, 2005. A port of Warrior Within was done by Pipeworks, renamed as Prince of Persia: Revelations, and it was released on December 6, 2005 for Sony's PlayStation Portable. The port includes additional content including four new areas not available in the original release.

Commandos: Strike Force is a first-person shooter computer game and the fifth installment of the critically acclaimed Commandos series. It is developed by Pyro Studios and published by Eidos Interactive.
Released during the first months of 2006, the game makes a departure from the first three games. Although the missions are set-up in a similar fashion (several different objectives, some to be achieved through stealth, others through use of force) and in most occasions the player is allowed to change between different characters, this is the first game in the series to apply a first-person perspective, like many other World War II inspired games, in contrast to the overhead view of the earlier games.
